Hi, I’m Hira, the founder behind Riwayat by Hira.

Cooking has always been something close to my heart. Growing up around homemade Pakistani food taught me that meals are more than just food, they bring comfort, connection, and people together.

With Riwayat by Hira, my goal is to share authentic homemade Pakistani flavors that feel warm, comforting, and familiar. Every dish is prepared fresh, halal, and with care, using recipes and flavors inspired by traditional home cooking.

From curries and biryanis to weekly tiffins and snacks, I want every meal to feel like something made with love and served at home. Whether you’re ordering for yourself or sharing with family and friends, I hope my food brings a feeling of comfort and happiness to your table.

The Word Behind the Brand

What Does Riwayat Mean?

Riwayat (روایت) is an Urdu word that means tradition, legacy, and the stories that are passed down through generations.

It's the word for the way your grandmother's recipe never needed to be written down — you simply learned it by standing beside her in the kitchen. It is knowledge carried in the hands, not on paper.

That is what this brand is about. Preserving those flavours, those techniques, and those moments — and bringing them to your table, wherever you are in the world.
